Upland Uncovered

I saw a lot of people confused by the recent minting challenge, so I decided to pick out some highlights from the recent Upland Medium article . All points are from the Medium article unless otherwise noted.  Note: We still don't know all of the details. I'll update as more is released.  Spud Property development will be driven by Spark (which is a token). However, the sandbox (which will allow players to play with the property development interface) will use a temporary resource we’re calling “Spud”. During the sandbox competitions, Spud will be used to build properties. All players of Uplander status and above will receive Spud when it is distributed. Spud will have no direct utility beyond these sandbox competitions.

  After a tour of the stunning views from the  Potrero Hill  neighborhood I got the chance to sit down with MXZTPLK for a talk about The Daily Uplander.  The is one of the premier data sources for Upland and I couldn't wait to here more about what makes the data world go 'round. My first and most recent articles really drove home the importance of patience and holding onto things in the long term. I stick by those arguments for smart, stable investments, however Upland is still a game and having some fun will keep you enjoying it so no one will fault you for wanting to use some UPX on short term risks for profit. Many players already know the benefits of patience in Upland, being able to hold onto UPX until you find a property below mint in an area you like is one of the nicest feelings you can have, but patience doesn’t just mean constantly searching for once in a lifetime bargains sometimes being able to hold onto a property in an area that’s not fully minted yet can be the opportunity you are looking for. Mission is very versatile with multiple options as long as you’re patient.  Future Value The biggest reason to grab and hold a property in Mission is simply the fact that it is currently in a collection. The date has finally been announced, November 2nd, 2020, at 10:00 AM PST. The long awaited “Big Opening of NYC” in Upland has arrived! There has been lots of buzz in the official Upland Discord Server since the announcement was made. The UPX Podcast’s , “New York Minute” provided some valuable pieces of information to take note of. Flying to NYC If you plan on traveling to NYC from San Francisco (Fresno residents would first need to take the train to San Fran, as there is no airport in Fresno… yet), you will need to send your BlockExplorer to the San Francisco International Airport.
